ISA - Institute for the Study of the Americas
The Institute for the Study of the Americas promotes, coordinates and provides a focus for research and postgraduate teaching on the Americas - Canada, the Caribbean, Latin America and the United States - in the University of London.
SLAS - Society for Latin America Studies
SLAS was founded in 1964 and is one of the leading Latin American studies organizations in Europe. They hold an annual conference in March/April, an Annual Lecture and publish the Bulletin of Latin American Research (BLAR).
Latin American Centre - University of Oxford
The LAC was founded in 1964 by St. Antony’s College and maintains its close links with St. Antony's today. It became a University centre in 1965 on the recommendations of a government review of Latin American studies in the United Kingdom. The main aims of the Centre are to educate graduate students in a range of disciplines applied to Latin America; to promote research on Latin America; to support a research library; to bring students and academics from Latin America to the University; and to organize seminars, lectures, workshops and conferences on Latin America.
